Communicating Science is an interdisciplinary series in which we explore how to effectively communicate science to diverse audiences using diverse media. On February 1st, USU College of Science and Quinney College of Natural Resources Public Relations Specialist Mary-Ann Muffoletto will present, “Communicating Science to People Who Aren’t Scientists.”

Student Activities

We will have group meditation that is open to all, regardless of experience. There will be guidance for beginners and support for folks that have a practice. We explore different mindfulness techniques that lead to mental clarity, self-knowledge, and present-moment awareness. It is a refuge within a busy campus.

USU Neurodiversity Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Workshop


Attendants of this event will learn more about neurodiversity in relation to mindfulness and self-compassion, learn some beginner techniques and participate in a guided mindfulness meditation.
