Campus Meditation

Student Activities

We will have group meditation that is open to all, regardless of experience. There will be guidance for beginners and support for folks that have a practice. We explore different mindfulness techniques that lead to mental clarity, self-knowledge, and present-moment awareness. It is a refuge within a busy campus.

Lecture and book signing by historian Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

Panel Discussion/Presentation

Dr. Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, author of "A Midwife's Tale," one of the most popular history books published in the modern era, will present a public lecture in honor of Women's History Month. Following the lecture will be a reception and book signing for Ulrich's newest book, "A House Full of Females: Plural Marriage and Women's Rights in Early Mormonism: 1835-1870."
