Multicultural Talking Circle

Workshop/Training

Access & Diversity Center Multicultural Programs, in conjunction with Counseling and Psychological Services, offers a weekly Talking Circle/Discussion group each semester. This group is an opportunity for multicultural students, faculty, and staff to get together, learn from, and support each other. Each week, we will discuss pertinent issues (i.e. race and ethnicity, identity, building meaningful relationships, facing discrimination, sharing success, advocating for yourself, current events, etc). Occasionally, we will be bringing in a special guest to share information with us. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.

Moonlight Viewing

Special Event

A chronicle consisting of three time periods-- the childhood, adolescence and burgeoning adulthood--of a young, gay, black man growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami. The film received eight Oscar nominations at the 89th Academy Awards, winning Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali and Best Adapted Screenplay for Jenkins and McCraney. An astonishing testament to the power of empathy and love. Join us in the TSC Auditorium April 6th at 8:00pm and FIND YOURSELF in #MOONLIGHT. $3 with student ID / $5 all other adults Tickets can be purchased in the TSC Card office. For questions, please contact Christian.stettler@usu.edu| 435-797-5562 | TSC 313A. Sponsored by the USU Access and Diversity Center.
