Facing Depression in Cache Valley Performances

Help erase the stigma of mental illness by attending this performance based on the experiences of local community members and depression. As part of The Facing Project, a national organization that promotes community dialogue, USU students, staff, and community volunteers have worked to bring the subject of depression out in the open. Monologues and scenes will be followed by a short talkback session with the director and licensed professionals. A free copy of the printed collection of stories will be available. No children under 5, audience discretion advised due to language and thematic material. Sponsored by the USU Center for Civic Engagement and Service-Learning, USU Department of Theatre Arts, and various community organizations.

Caleb Anderson is the co-founder of the innovative, multi-disciplinary interior design partner-ship Drake/Anderson considered one of Architectural Digest's Top 100 Firms in the world. Anderson amassed and impressive string of awards and honors such as: "Next Wave" designer (House Beautiful), one if "Six Faces to Watch" (Lonny), "Rising Star" (New York Cottages & Gardens), and "Rising Star of Interior Design" (International Furnishings & Design Association). In addition, Anderson has been featured in Traditional Home, Luxe, Domino and other design publications.

Caleb Anderson, co-founder of the innovative, multi-disciplinary interior design partnership Drake / Anderson, brings a polished sensibility and unique design vision to the new venture. Anderson’s effortless skill with which he pairs custom creations with furnishings of seemingly disparate styles and periods consistently results in rooms that are witty, elegant, and unexpected. Anderson honed his craft during his years as a protégé of acclaimed designer Jamie Drake — his co-founder at Drake / Anderson and then continued to develop under the tutelage of modernist architect David Mann. U.S. Airforce Falconaires Jazz Band

The professional Airmen-musicians in the Falconaires Big Band follow in a long blue line of talented Air Force Academy bandsmen who are dedicated to serving our great nation and representing the young men and women at the academy training to be officers of character that will lead our Air Force. It is also our distinct privilege to support our veterans and all men and women currently serving around the globe, protecting the freedoms we all enjoy. It is because of these selfless Americans that we are able to share the music and remarkable talents of the Falconaires Big band. The versatility and professionalism of this unique ensemble reflects the great diversity and ingenuity that makes our air force the greatest air, space and cyberspace force the world has ever known. The Air Force Academy Band’s Falconaires play a major role in cultivating our national heritage through America’s only indigenous musical genre, jazz!
