Family First Saturday at the USU Museum of Anthropology: World War I Aviation and Immigration

This Family 1st Saturday event features much more in addition to the 10 a.m.-2p.m. activities for children. Authors Jeff Bateman and Emily Wheeler speak at 12:30 p.m. on their new historical novel about WWI.The authors share their research focused on Cache Valley residents' experience during the war effort. Also, exhibit opening of WWI artifacts. Activities for families continue through the day; or just stop by for the lecture!

Tanner Talks presents Cynthia Moe-Lobeda

Dr. Cynthia Moe-Lobeda, will speak on her specialty of theological and social ethics. This professor at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, Calif., is the author of several books on ethics in religion. She is also the appointed theological consultant to the Presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

Religious Studies Program Book Launch and Celebration

Three authors of new books and faculty members in the Religious Studies program will each present their new publications, followed by a Q&A. Authors are: Philip Barlow, author of "The Oxford Handbook of Mormonism" (2015); Ravi Gupta, author of "The Bhagavata Purana: Selected Readings" (2016); and Dominic Sur, author of "Entering the Way of the Great Vehicle: Dzogchen as the Culmination of the Mahayana" (2017).
