Family 1st Saturdays at the MOA

Cultural/Diversity

Join us in the Museum of Anthropology the 1st Saturday of each month to explore cultures from around the world, past and present. We offer activities and demonstrations for all ages. Upcoming events include exploring the museum's exhibits in June, art and material culture in July and August, human origins in September, food from around the world in October, magic + deception in November, and the cultural practice of gift giving in December. Travel Talk:

Lecture/Readings

Ned and Gail Weinshenker will relate their experiences of their time in Papua New Guinea. they will share slides, stories and objects, many of which are on display in the USU Museum of Anthropology. Museum hours: Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and the First Saturday of the month, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The museum is free.
