Keynote speech for Bennion Teacher's Workshop

Lecture/Readings

civil rights advocate Margaret Whitt will present a public speech to open the annual Bennion Teacher's Workshop for K-12 teachers. Whitt, a professor of English at the University of Denver, will speak on "Stories from the Mid-Century South: Martyrs for the Cause." The lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.

Join us in the Museum of Anthropology the 1st Saturday of each month to explore cultures from around the world, past and present. We offer activities and demonstrations for all ages. Upcoming events include exploring the museum's exhibits in June, art and material culture in July and August, human origins in September, food from around the world in October, magic + deception in November, and the cultural practice of gift giving in December.
